COVID INFO : PLEASE NOTE WALKERS MUST  BE VACCINATED. 

 

  Our scheduled walks take place once a fortnight on a Friday.

​

During the warmer months we start walking at 9am to avoid the heat and during the cooler months we start walking at 10am. We have several walks for variety, so the location is subject to change.  Please ensure you check back here for the date, time and meeting place of each walk.

​

Our hounds vary in age from 2 years to 12 years, so our locations and pace are targeted towards our golden oldies. We consider our walks to be more about socialisation than exercise - for both hounds and humans! Several people have found regularly attending the walks has been beneficial for their hound's general well being, especially those who are shy or lack confidence. 

 

We are a casual walking group, therefore can you join us as frequently or as infrequently as you wish. There are no club fees.

Please be aware that all walks are on leash, we do not off leash our hounds. 

​

Owners are responsible for the behaviour of their own hound. Please be a responsible owner and pick up after them. 

​

Our walks are located in areas where we may meet other people and their dogs, if you are unsure as to how your hound may react to other dogs please bring a muzzle.

FIRST TIMERS

​

Meeting the group for the first time may be a little stressful for your hound, so please ensure your hound is muzzled. Once the meet and greets are over you may remove it if you are confident your hound is happy with the other hounds.
