It all started back in January 2017, when one hound owner innocently posted on Facebook asking "Does anyone fancy a walk at the lagoon on Friday?".  Much to her surprise, 16 hounds and their humans showed up! We've been meeting up on fortnightly Fridays ever since.

 

We're a mixed group of different ages, nationalities and cultures. Our hounds have come from various rehoming  agencies such as Nightrave Greyhounds NZ, HUHA, Greyhounds As Pets (GAP) and even a few direct from trainers.

 

The walking group can vary in numbers from a small gathering of 3 hounds to a head turning 20 hounds! 

 

We love meeting new hounds and their humans and we are a friendly lot, so please don't be shy!  If you don't yet own a hound but are considering adopting, you are most welcome to come and join us anyway, we love nothing more than talking about our hounds!
